Your job as an online marketer is to make sure your customers/prospects are satisfied, and this can only happen when they share a bond with you and trust what you're saying. Trust must be there if you hope to form a business bond with them. There are so many ways to form bonds with your target audience so you only have to think outside the box. You can even write a newsletter that offers information your subscribers will find useful. Your ultimate objective is to engage your audience in some way, so that when you sell them something, they don't have second thoughts on the quality because they already trust you enough. Another mistake that Internet marketers make is actually something that should be avoided from day one, which is not having a direct response sales copy on your website. You can't just sit down and talk to someone about your product face to face, and so the words on your website must convince them that buying your product is beneficial to them. So you must have sales copy that tells them why your product is beneficial to them. Just having general information about the product won't help because people on the web buy on impulse, they buy for emotional reasons.
